Introductions of use:
- It is recommended that the capsule be taken with the main meal along with water or a cold drink.
Contraindications:
- If you are taking antacids, calcium, copper or thyroid medications, you should take the iron supplement at least 3 hours apart.
Consumption of coffee and green tea should also be avoided as it may significantly reduce its absorption.
Side effects:
- The most common side effects include upset stomach, constipation or diarrhea.
